SupportHost review

Verified greenchecked 1 November 2026What this means

Low-priced cPanel hosting on NVMe storage with a price lock at renewal and 24/7 ticket support.

SupportHost’s big selling point is a price lock: what you pay at sign-up is what you pay at renewal. Shared 1 costs €38 a year, or €96.90 upfront for three years, with NVMe storage, cPanel and daily backups kept off-site for 30 days. Each plan hosts one website, and help comes by ticket, around the clock.

How green is SupportHost?

SupportHost is in the Green Web Foundation's directory of verified green hosting providers (we checked on 1 November 2026).

What the Foundation's verification means

SupportHost says certified hydroelectric plants and wind farms power its data centres in Germany and Finland, and it names the certificates: TÜV Nord, Grüner Strom and a Finnish guarantee of origin. Its data-centre page says all its sites, including those in the USA, run entirely on renewable energy, but it gives no certificate for the US sites.

Hosting in Germany, Finland and the USA; the Netherlands holds off-site backups only.

The data centres we list are in 3 countries, whose grids average 259 g CO2e per kWh, against 218 g in the UK. Lower is cleaner.

The grid in each country
Each country's average grid carbon intensity, from Ember: the grid where the data centres are, not the provider's own supply.
