How green is Kinsta?

Kinsta is in the Green Web Foundation's directory of verified green hosting providers (we checked on 1 November 2026).

What the Foundation's verification means

Kinsta’s green hosting page, written in 2021 when it ran on Google Cloud, says its hosting runs entirely on renewable energy, but only in the page’s description for search engines, with no regions, year or basis. Kinsta has since moved to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and we found no statement from it about the energy behind its new setup.

The data centres a customer can choose, now on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; Kinsta previously ran on Google Cloud.

The data centres we list are in 24 countries, whose grids average 360 g CO2e per kWh, against 218 g in the UK. Lower is cleaner.

The grid in each country
Each country's average grid carbon intensity, from Ember: the grid where the data centres are, not the provider's own supply.
